Nominations are open for Calouste Gulbenkian Prize 2016, that supports efforts to foster the universal values inherent to the human condition, respect for diversity and difference, a culture of tolerance and the conservation of the environment in man’s relationship with nature.
The fundamental criteria used in the assessment process will be the pursuit of the objectives underlying the creation of the Prize, and the impact, originality and innovative qualities of the nominee’s contribution to the theme at the current time.
Award Information
- The Prize of €250.000 will be awarded annually.
- The Prize will be in existence for five years.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Prize is open to individuals or institutions, regardless of nationality.
- The Prize cannot be awarded posthumously or to an institution that has ceased its activity.
