The Global Fund for Women aims at advancing the rights of women and girls worldwide by increasing their resources by investing in women-led organizations and women’s collective leadership for change. The Fund envisions a sustainable world in which women and girls have resources, voice, choice and opportunities to realize their human rights. The fund intended to provide 500 grants annually.
By now, the Global Fund for Women has made a total of 10,021 grants for $120,883,544.59 to 4,776 organizations in 175 countries.

- Grants ranges from $5,000 to $30,000 per year for operating and project expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a group of women working together.
- The group should be governed, directed, and led by women.
- Groups do not need to be registered non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to qualify for funding.
- The primary focus of the group should be in advancing women’s equality and human rights.
- The group should not be based in USA.

- The application process is open once in a year.
