The Sir Ratan Tata Foundation and the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) jointly invite applications from scholars in the social sciences for the Sri Ratan Tata Fellowship 2014-15. The eight months long fellowship will be based at the LSE Asia Research Center (ARC).
The fellow will be provided monthly allowance up to £1,500 a month, shared office space and access to research facilities at the school.
Social Science Research Themes:
- Growth and inclusion
- Climate change and environmental sustainability
- Social and human security
- Population and development
- Governance and democracy
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be from South Asia. List of eligible countries – Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
- Applicants must be scholars in the social sciences with experience of research on South Asia.
- Applicants must hold a PhD. Students registered for a degree or diploma and the senior academics are not eligible to apply.
