Applications invited for Mobilities for Innovation and development(MID) Grant programme which is starting in autumn 2013, grants are available for study, research and professional visit purposes at all mobility levels.
The mobility flows aim to enchace institutional development of home and host universities. Host Universities benefit academically from exchange of experience and good practices in pedagogy and research. In addition, Host and Home Universities receive new ideas on how to broaden the curricula and courses offered for students. The students and staff in Host and Home Universities benefit from the mobility scheme as they come into contact with people from other linguistic and cultural environment.
Through the mobility scheme the society is enriched by open-minded and internationally experienced academics and students. Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education that aims to enhance the quality of European higher education and to promote dialogue and understanding between people and cultures through cooperation with Third-countries. MID project aims to promote internationalization and cultural diversity, and to enhance international cooperation in the field of higher education by awarding scholarships for students and university staff in partner universities.
Eligibility for European students and researchers–
- Must be a citizen of one of the EU countries;
- Must belong to one of the two Target Groups
- Must have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses or one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting countries;
- Undergraduate students must have successfully completed at least one year of studies at first higher education level.
Eligibility for Third-country students and researchers
- Must be a citizen of Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia or Azerbaijan;
- Must belong to one of the Target Groups
- Must have not resided nor carried out their main activity (studies, work etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the EU countries at the time of submitting application.
- Must have sufficient knowledge of the language of the courses or one of the languages currently spoken in the hosting country.
- Undergraduate students must have successfully completed at least one year of studies at first higher education level.
How to Apply?
- Online application form opens on 18 October 2012. N.B. Open the online application form with other browser than Windows Explorer!
- In the electronic application form applicant’s are requested to write a host specific motivation letter, provide Study plan (ECTS Learning Agreement) or summary of Research Plan / Teaching Plan. In addition, make sure applicant have the information on their previous studies at hand before starting. The application system provides applicant with an application number (reference number) – please do not loose it!
- Application will not be processed, unless Applicant have completed the application form and submitted all the required enclosures. All enclosures must contain their name and the reference number of their application.
- All enclosures must be submitted in English, except for original certificates and transcript in original language.
