The Ford Motor Company has announced its Conservation and Environmental Grants as part of its eco initiative in the Middle East Region.
Through these grants, the Company aims to provide over $100,000 funding to activists raising awareness about the environment and much needed efforts for conservation.
The programme is supported by UNESCO’s Doha office and NGOs working on environmental issues can submit proposals.Projects from Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE can apply, it added.
An independent panel of jurors consisting of nine experts and academics from environmental agencies and institutions will choose the winning projects.
