All eligible participants are invited to participate in Middle East Photograph Preservation Initiative Workshop which will be conducted in National Library of Jordan in Amman from 20-28 January 2014. The goal of this workshop is to provide basic theoretical and practical training in the care of a broad range of photographic materials found in the collections of museums, libraries, archives and other repositories. The courses deliver learning and hands-on experience in both classroom and workplace settings.
Eligibility & Criteria-
Applications are open to those caring for photographic collections in museums, libraries, archives or similar institutions. Such personnel may include archivists and collection managers, but also curators, photographers and other collection custodians. Applicants from across the Middle East region are invited to apply.
