A strategy is how you are going to approach in addressing the issues you have narrated in your proposal earlier. The sixth section of the application form of the UN Trust Fund’s Small Grants Programme seeks to know the strategy of your project.
You can list out activities here but there should be enough information to make it clear why you are implementing it here. Again, you have a word limit of 200 words to give the entire explanation. If you are implementing a human rights awareness project for the indigenous community, then your strategy can be called as ‘capacity building’ and under it, you can list out activities such as:
- Training workshops for indigenous women on their rights
- Training workshops for representatives of the indigenous community on informing them about the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
- Meetings and rallies to advocate for the recognition of the human rights of indigenous communities
The strategy has to be limited to community well-being and sustainable livelihoods.
Under this section, you also need to submit a small gantt chart, in other words the timeline of the project activities that will be carried out with the date of initiation.
