The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID/Malawi) is requesting for applications for the Translating Research into Action (TRAction) project.
The project consists of one award and the maximum award amount is up to $150,000.
The project supports implementation research to develop, test, and compare approaches to deliver health interventions, increase utilization, achieve coverage, and scale up evidence based interventions for maternal and child health problems.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications may be submitted in English by a host country organization, a US or international organization or by a consortium of organizations with demonstrated experience in Malawi.
- The prime applicant and any sub-awardees must be an organization from one of the following types:
- Institutions of higher education,
- Nonprofit organization (if a US organization, it must be a 501-3C certified nonprofit.),
- For profit commercial organizations (no fee or profit will be allowed),
- Public International Organizations,
- Parastatal research institutions,
- Host country or international non-profit research or accounting organizations.
How to Apply
The application must be divided into 2 parts, the Technical Application and the Cost Application. These should be labeled as such and be submitted by email as separate documents by the deadline.
