The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Consulate General, Chennai is seeking proposals for Cybersecurity Research and Innovation Contest for young programmers and students of Information Technology. The proposed program will help popularize research and training in Indian institutions and complement U.S.-India bilateral cooperation on cyber security.
The preliminary round of the contest will be conducted in six cities across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala, culminating in a grand finale in Chennai. Funding and Award
- Minimum Award Amount: $15,000
- Maximum Award Amount: $20,000
Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. and Indian registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organizations, and other legally-recognized non-profit institutions are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must acquire all required registrations in the United States and/or India.
- All intellectual property considerations and rights must be fully met in the United States and India.
- Proposals must include a budget reflecting all the expenses associated with administering such contests – from the development of the overall agenda and calendar, securing the participation of experts, venues, publicity, airfare, transportation, hotel logistics, printing costs, prizes and any other miscellaneous expenses.
