The U.S Consulate General’s Public Affair Section in Chennai, India is seeking proposals for a cooperative agreement/grant. Non-governmental organizations and other legally-recognized non-profit institutions that meet Indian and U.S. technical and legal requirements to develop and implement public diplomacy programs are welcome.
Funding Type and Amount: Grant/cooperative agreement
- Minimum Award Amount: $5,000
- Maximum Award Amount: $20,000
Proposals must focus on one of the following three priority areas of the U.S. Mission to India:
- Promote better U.S.-India bilateral relations with emphasis on economic and educational ties
- Encourage regional and global roles for India
- Enhance security cooperation
Eligibility Criteria
- The U.S. Consulate General Chennai’s Public Affairs Section will accept applications from U.S. and Indian registered not-for-profit, non-governmental organizations, and other legally-recognized non-profit institutions.
- Applicants must acquire all required registrations in the United States and/or India.
- All intellectual property considerations and rights must be fully met in the United States and India.
How to Apply
Proposals must be submitted to Grants.gov; only applications from Grants.gov will be considered. Applications must be submitted by an Authorized Organization Representative (AOR) of the applicant organization.
