This RFA provides an estimate of the dollar amount for the Cooperative Agreement of $210 million over five years. The objective of the Advancing Partners and Community-based Family Planning Project is to build upon and expand USAID’s previous successful efforts to address the family planning (FP) needs of marginalized and underserved populations through community-based family planning (CBFP) programs to support and advance global leadership on CBFP and build organizational and technical capacity of private voluntary organizations (PVOs) and emerging non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to implement CBFP programs.
The overall purpose of this new award is to advance and support community programs that seek to improve the overall health of communities and achieve other health-related impacts, especially in relationship to FP. There are three primary activity areas that will be undertaken by the recipient to achieve this purpose.
Eligibility-
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Private institutions of higher education.
