The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Guatemala is requesting for information to provide recommendations on approaches for the implementation of the Citizens for Healthy Communities Project (CHCP). The maximum funding amount under this project is $35 million to $40 million. The period of the project is five years.
The Citizens for Healthy Communities Project (CHCP) will empower citizens of Guatemala’s Western Highlands (hereafter – Western Highlands) to sustainably improve the health and quality of life in their own communities. Using a community-based development approach that intentionally engages historically marginalized groups (indigenous, poor, women, youth, and others) in the design and implementation of community development, CHCP will also improve citizen participation and empowerment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Interested candidates and organizations are eligible to provide recommendations.
- RFI is open for comments from any interested U.S and Guatemala organizations.
