The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications for the Model Early Grade Reading Program (MEGR).
Award Information
USAID intends to provide up to $65 million in total USAID funding for the life of the project. The anticipated period of performance is five (5) years.
The Model Early Grade Reading (MEGR) Program will develop, implement and test/refine a model to improve early grade reading outcomes to benefit an optimum number of grade 1-2 students in a maximum number of public schools/community-based education classes in targeted provinces/districts.
Eligibility Information
- US and Afghanistan organizations are eligible to participate.
- USAID welcomes applications from organizations which have not previously received financial assistance from USAID.
- Applicants must have established financial management, monitoring and evaluation processes, internal control systems, and policies and procedures that comply with established U.S. Government standards, laws, and regulations.
- The application may be submitted by the institution individually or in a group.
Applicants are required to submit both technical and cost application separately.
