The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications to fund a program entitled Health and Hygiene Activity (HHA). The primary purpose of the HHA is to improve community health status by improved integration of hygiene in health service delivery.
USAID intends to provide up to $ 5 million in total USAID funding over a five-year period. The total estimated cost for this program is $ 5.5 million, which is inclusive of $0.5 million as cost share brought in by the Recipient.
The HHA will be implemented in partnership and collaboration with USAID partners and contractors, government agencies, local bodies, community-based organizations, organizations of marginalized groups and women, local spiritual leaders, and private agencies.
Eligibility Information
- U.S. or Nepal non-governmental organization (NGO) or a private, non-profit organization are eligible.
- USAID welcomes applications from organizations which have not previously received financial assistance from USAID.
- All Applicants are required to demonstrate the ability to implement the activities under this NFO in Nepal.
