USAID-India is currently accepting concept papers from prospective implementing partners (e.g. NGOs, private sector concerns, and others) who can engage and work with resource partners (e.g. corporations, local businesses, foundations, and others) for programmes under different areas specified below. USAID/India is specifically seeking Indian implementing organizations (for-profit and not-for-profit) and non-traditional Indian development partners, to reach out to Indian resource partners and explore ways in which collaboration with USAID/India might help each partner – private sector, NGO, and public sector contributors – to more effectively address key issues, advance shared development goals, and achieve exceptional development results and impacts in India and beyond.

- Gender for Improved Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A)
- Urban India Water and Sanitation for Health Alliance (Urban WASH Alliance)
- Early Grade Reading
- Clean Energy and Forestry
- Food Security and Nutrition
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be non-traditional partners such as: private businesses, business and trade associations, foundations, financial institutions, as well as more traditional non-profit, non-governmental organizations and for-profit development firms. To be eligible, all partners must be legally recognized entities organized under applicable law.
- Organizations, such as nonprofit, non-governmental NGOs, that may not themselves be able to provide funding are also eligible to apply.
- All applicant organizations are expected to comply with applicable local laws.
- Applicant organization must have to obtain Government of India approval in accordance with the Foreign Contributions Regulations Act (FCRA) prior to receiving such funds.
- Individuals are not eligible to apply.
How to Apply?
Applicants must submit the concept papers together with a cover letter via email. After reviewing, selected applicants will be invited to submit full proposals.
