The US Agency for International Development, USAID is calling concept papers for innovation development project in Rwanda to develop new and innovative public private alliances with the private sector – including businesses, investors, foundations – and other stakeholders, including NGOs and other institutions.
Objectives
USAID may allocate up to $4,500,000 over the course of the next fiscal year to fund a portfolio of partnerships. Potential USAID funding for any individual partnership will vary by objective:
- Objective 1 ($500,000 to $3,000,000) – Increase the availability of and access to nutritious foods.
- Objective 2 ($500,000 to $3,000,000) – Increase on and off-farm employment opportunities for rural youth.
- Objective 3 ($250,000 to $500,000) – Increase English language and computer literacy skills among youth.
- Objective 4 ($100,000 to $1,000,000) – Increase clarity and consistency in the interpretation and enforcement of laws and contracts.
