The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is seeking applications to implement an activity entitled “Stand Alone Roads Activity (SARA) Community Involvement Program”.
The Stand Alone Roads Activity (SARA) is a major component of the FTF rural roads project in Haiti. SARA will rehabilitate up to 150 km of rural roads in the Plaine de Cul-de-Sac, Matheux Corridor, Mirebalais area, and Northern Corridor in Haiti.
Award Information
USAID has set aside $2,500,000 to address community involvement for the entire project. Depending on the geographical availability of the applicant, this may result in more than one award, but should not exceed four awards.
Eligibility Criteria
- USAID will not accept applications from individuals.
- Eligible Applicants are Private Voluntary Organizations based in the United States (U.S. PVOs) or indigenous, local NGOs, Public International Organizations (PIOs) and International Organizations (IOs), U.S. and Haiti for-Profit Organizations, U.S. and Haiti Colleges and Universities.
- U.S. and Haiti For-Profit Organizations, U.S. and Non-U.S. Colleges and Universities. All qualified applicants are eligible to apply.
- All applicants must be legally recognized organizational entities under applicable law and authorized to operate in Haiti.
- Organizations are only permitted to submit one application.
Application Procedure
Applications and modifications thereof must be submitted in two separate volumes electronically via email: (a) technical and (b) cost applications. Email submissions must include the following in the subject line:
- “Technical application under RFA-521-15-000010, submitted by: [name of Applicant organization].”
- “Cost application under RFA-521-15-000010, submitted by: [name of Applicant organization].”
