The United States Agency for International Development in Brazil (USAID/Brazil) is seeking concept papers to support territorial and environmental management of Indigenous Lands in the South of Amazonas state. The overall objective of this program is to enhance biodiversity conservation in Brazilian Amazon Protected Area Systems.
Subject to availability of funds, the United States Government intends to award two to three Cooperative Agreements/Grants lasting up to 5 years under this APS, with a total funding of approximately $2,500,000.
USAID/Brazil is committed to working together in partnership with civil society and public and private sectors to support the Brazilian Policy for Territorial and Environmental Management of Indigenous Lands (PNGATI).
Eligibility Information
- USAID welcomes applications from qualified U.S. and non-U.S. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), colleges and universities and commercial (for-profit) entities.
- All applicants must be legally recognized organizational entities under applicable law.
- Individuals are not eligible to apply under this solicitation.
- An applicant wishing to become an implementing institution may not submit more than one Concept Paper.
Concept papers may be in English or Portuguese and submitted electronically by email.
