Qualified organizations are invited to submit applications for Healthy Markets Activity Program under USAID. The mission of this program is to to grow a viable commercial market for HIV-related goods and services – such as condoms, HIV testing and counseling, and sterile needles and syringes – that is capable of meeting the needs of populations facing the greatest risks.
Objectives-
- to increase private sector and local investment in the market for condoms and other HIV-related goods and services
- to increase demand for condoms and other HIV-related goods and services among key populations facing the greatest HIV risks
- to increase private sector supply of condoms and other HIV-related goods and
- services among key populations facing the greatest HIV risks
Eligibility & Criteria-
- To be eligible for an award, the Applicant must submit their application, in its entirety. Interested organizations should successfully demonstrate in their applications that they are capable of and have the capacity to deliver services in Vietnam. U.S. NGOs are eligible to submit applications. For the purposes of this solicitation, NGOs include any incorporated entity, either non-profit or for-profit, other than a governmental organization.
- To be eligible for award of a cooperative agreement, in addition to other conditions of this RFA, organizations must be a politically neutral, and have a commitment to non-discrimination with respect to beneficiaries and adherence to equal opportunity employment practices. Non-discrimination includes equal treatment without regard to race, religion, ethnicity, gender, and political affiliation.
