The United States Agency for International Development Mission in Zambia (USAID/Zambia) is accepting applications from the nine organizations that received grants under the first round of the Various Incentive-based Grant Opportunities and Rewards (VIGOR) activity.
Under this grant, USAID intends to award up to 5 fully-funded Fixed Amount awards of US$100,000 to US$200,000. Total amount for all the awards is US$800,000.
USAID/Zambia’s intention is to continue support to local organizations previously funded through USAID’s VIGOR program to expand the activities in their current area of operations, replicate the activities in a new area, or a combination of both.
Eligibility Criteria
- An Applicant must be among the original 9 organizations that were awarded under the first phase of VIGOR funding.
- Applicant must be a Local Civil Society Organization (CSO), Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), business, or educational institution that is organized under Zambia laws.
- Each Organization may submit only one application as the prime applicant. If an organization partners with another organization as the sub-partner, then the sub-partner may also submit an application as the prime applicant.
