Local Vietnamese organizations are invited to submit applications for Strengthen in-country Strategic Information Capacity for Sustainable HIV Response Program under The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Vietnam. The major purpose of this program is to strengthen in-country strategic information capacity for effective, integrated and sustainable HIV service delivery in Vietnam.
Objectives:
- Strengthen the production and quality of HIV and AIDS-related data from program monitoring and surveillance at community, provincial and national levels
- Foster a culture of data use to strengthen local HIV and AIDS responses
- Generate and utilize operational research and program evaluations for effective HIV and AIDS programming
Grants of up to $1,500,000 may be requested for the period of three years.
Eligibility criteria:
Applicants must be local Vietnamese Organizations. To be eligible for this program as a local NGO, an organization must meet the following criteria:
- Be organized under the laws of the recipient country,
- Have its principal place of business in the recipient country,
- Be majority owned by individuals who are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the recipient country or be managed by a governing body, the majority of whom are citizens or lawful permanent residents of the recipient country, and
- Not be controlled by a foreign entity comprised of individuals who are not citizens or permanent residents of the recipient country.
Note: Organizations are first requested to get registered in System for Award Management (SAM), unless exempt under 22 CFR 25.100, to be eligible to receive an award under this APD.
