Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) is pleased to offer funding for Local Initiatives for Vietnam which aims to support local projects and activities in Vietnam. Objective of this program is to advance democracy and ensuring security and stability. The 2013-14 CFLI will focus on the themes of enhancing participatory governance and the promotion of human rights. Proposals must respond to both the thematic and geographic focus in order to be considered.

- Human Rights-
- Anti-human trafficking
- LGBT
- Women’s human rights
Eligibility & Criteria-
- has the organisational, managerial and implementation capacity to achieve the project’s expected results
- is properly registered in Vietnam and has the support of relevant local authorities
- has a demonstrated track record/experience in the proposed area of activity or has worked previously with the target group
- can sustain the proposed activity or follow up on project results
- and has adequate financial management capacities
