Applications are invited for Elizabeth E.Bascom Fellowship in Conservation Biology program offered by The Missouri Botanical Garden (MBG). The goal of this program is to broaden the Fellows’ expertise and experience in conservation biology. Utilizing varied techniques and resources, Fellows will participate in scientific research projects and activities related to the population dynamics of rare plants, restoration of endangered plant species.
The Fellowship will cover the costs of round-trip air travel to St. Louis and lodging in MBG’s visitor apartments, and will provide a stipend for food, local transportation, and other incidental expenses in St. Louis for a period of up to three months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- The Fellowships are open to applicants from Mexico, Central America, South America, Madagascar, Vietnam, and Tanzania and resident in those countries.

- individuals who have recently completed an undergraduate degree
- graduate students
- professionals from universities, governmental, and nongovernmental organizations
