1. Conduct certification tests of newly installed videoconferencing systems, satellite or MPLS circuits throughout the World Bank global network including determination of packet loss and jitter as conforming to standards of ISGGC Video Services unit, using AGT Fathom test equipment and in conjunction with Chariot tests of ISGGC Global Network unit.
2. Configure and test videoconferencing systems during staging of equipment in headquarters prior to shipment to World Bank country offices. Assist country office IT staff in installation of videoconferencing systems.
3. Troubleshoot videoconferencing system problems and if needed, ship required replacement parts to country offices.
4. Configure, program, and maintain videoconferencing infrastructure equipment including: video bridges (Polycom MGC-100 and RMX 2000), gatekeepers (Cisco), IP-to-IP gateways (Cisco), radius servers (Cisco), videoconferencing endpoints (Polycom HDX, VSX, FX, VS-4000, PVX), and IP-to-ISDN gateways (Cisco)
5. Check daily video conferences and monitor high-level events attended by World Bank President and Vice-Presidents.
6. Respond to technical assistance request from World Bank’s Network Operations Center in solving problems encountered by ongoing video conferences.
7. Provide training, guidance, and support to Video Services unit staff including VC reservations team, Network Operations Center (NOC) staff, and overseas IT staff.
8. Maintain data in Polycom Global Management System (GMS), Equipment Registration database, and MCU endpoint definitions.
9. Update system and network documentation.
