The future plan section requires 2-3 paragraphs and less than 1500 characters, which will be the descriptions of the nominee’s future goal and work plan. The size of the award will be decided based on how predominant the nominee’s past contributions were, how many children’s lives have been affected, and the goal and impacts of the future plan. It is highly recommended that the future plan is closely correlated to the past distinction, and well designed to include innovative objectives and activities with the involvements of the NGO.
For example, the nominee may have helped to improve the living conditions of orphaned and disadvantaged children including residential and dietary improvements in the past years. In the future plan, the nominee may design to use the award to develop a network system to assist the communication and educational needs of the orphaned and disadvantaged children in the residency, or to set up a medical health care system, or to enlarge the area of your previous services to further attract other funding resources to reach the same goal. Besides the correlations to the past extinction, the future plan has to give the following designs:
- A clear goal with several objectives;
- Practical activities to achieve the objectives;
- Results monitoring and evaluations;
- Budget explanations.
If your nominee’s future plan is to enlarge the extinct services, you will need to describe what the objectives and activities will be, and what indicators you may use to monitor and evaluate the activities with their results to make sure that the planed practices are moving toward the right direction. Finally, you may give a budget explanation to describe once awarded, how the nominee will relocate the award to itemized expenses, including the total project cost, the names and costs of direct beneficiaries (costs needed by the project like equipment, staffing, travel, training, monitoring and evaluation, and communications), indirect beneficiaries (costs needed by the space and facility provider), other funding sources, and the project duration. You may make a list of the detailed budget but not chart since chart is not loadable to the online form.
