The UNAOC’s Youth Solidarity Fund does not have a standard application form but it provides clear guidelines as to how to develop your proposal. As per the guidelines, the proposal is not highly complicated and it can be easily developed by organizations, which have proper focus and experience working on youth issues.
IMPORTANT: The overall size of the proposal should not exceed more than 8 pages and always use 10-point Font size.
The first section of the proposal should contain information about ‘your organization’. Please remember to be brief and highlight only relevant points about your NGO.
Always remember the mission and top priorities of UNAOC while developing the introductory part of your organization. The focus needs to be on youths and your organization should be led by youths – or else your proposal can get rejected right at the beginning.
You can also use this section to inform about any previous activities that you have successfully implemented for youths in your area. If there is some link to a cross-cultural understanding like an exchange program of youths between countries or cultures, you can mention that here.
The second section of the UNAOC Youth Solidarity Fund’s application form seeks to know the details of the person who will be the project coordinator of the proposed project.
Again, please don’t forget that this person has to be a youth (between the age group 18 and 35 years). The person should be a leading figure of the organization.
