The Rotary Foundation will offer Rotary clubs and districts eight grants annually to sponsored scholarships for graduate students in one of three MSc degree programs at UNESCO-IHE in Delft, The Netherlands. UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education is largest post graduate water education institution in the world and the only institution in United Nations systems authorized to offer recognized Master of Science degrees.
The strategic collaboration between The Rotary Foundation and UNESCO-IHE aims to deal with the crisis of world’s water and sanitation by enhancing the number of qualified professionals to devise, plan and execute solutions in emerging as well as developing countries. Owing to this partnership, scholarships will be awarded to graduate students at UNESCO-IHE’s Delft campus in the Netherlands.
The following packaged global grant has been offered to support long-term productive relationships between Rotarians and highly skilled water and sanitation professionals in their communities. This grant is available mainly to Future Vision pilot districts only.
