United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is inviting grant applications from interested organizations to conduct Partnerships with Youth Program that provides educational and leadership programs to youth throughout the West Bank. The grant program purposes to engage youth within the 14-29 age range in programming, activities, and/or training that is designed to provide educational and leadership opportunities and build their skills and competencies.
The grant will support Youth Development Resource Centers (YDRCs) in the West Bank to become sustainable hubs for youth innovation and learning and also work with Affiliated Youth Clubs (ACs) that will provide programs for youth outside of district centers.
Thematic Areas –
- Implement program activities for youth within the 14-29 age range, to reach at least 1000 male and female youth in the first six-month grant period.
- Transfer their expertise to the YDRCs so that YDRCs can implement activities on their own.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be NGOs in the West Bank or Jerusalem.
- Applicants must demonstrate capacity to provide programs in one of the following themes – sports, environment, English language, arts with emphasis on either employbility or community engagement.
- Applicants must demonstrate capacity to transfer expertise in the thematic areas to PWY-supported YDRCs.
