The Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition based on the theme ‘Everyone has the power to become a successful entrepreneur’ offers the youth between 15 and 30 years of age to participate in Entrepreneurial Summit to be held in October 2014 in Berlin, Germany.
Categories
- Best Ideas– New and original ideas and plans for an enterprise that still needs to be implemented.
- Best Projects– Already existing enterprise that has demonstrated social impact.
The month of July will open for people to vote on the most innovative project that they find has/will have social impact. The top ten entries will be invited to submit video presentations.

- Grand, 2nd & 3rd Prize in each category
- People’s Choice Prize
- Finalists (10 entries in each categories receiving the most votes)
Added Benefit
Free Training entitled ‘Learn how to create an entrepreneurial design from scratch’ at the online Entrepreneurship Campus. The training provides methods and techniques for developing ideas into solid business models, to turn a budding idea into a fully developed concept, or to improve on an existing business model.
Eligibility Criteria
- Entrant must be youth between 15-30 years of age.
- Entrant must have an innovative idea on one of the following fields that contribute to sustainable development- environment, education, health, poverty reduction, cultural diversity, peace building, sustainable energy, food security, sustainable trade, elderly, and empowerment of women and youth.
- Entrant can be the one who is operating such an enterprise in the form of a business, a non-profit organization, or an informal group.
Entrant must submit entry to be considered and must be able to make presentations in English language.
