The Kenya Red Cross Society is seeking proposals from organizations for Global Fund HIV Grant with a vision to be the most effective, most trusted and self-sustaining humanitarian organization in the country.
Thematic Areas
- Prevention program with adolescents and young people aged 10-24 years.
- Prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV
- Community support for treatment, care and support programs
- Prevention programs with key populations(sex workers and their clients, and MSM)
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants have to be legal entity registered in Kenya with the right to enter a contractual agreement with Kenya Red Cross Society.
- The applicant must have the mandate to work in the geographical location applied for.
- It must have no history of legal proceedings related to fraud or corruption.
- The applicant must demonstrate :
- Local presence for the last 3 years in the proposed areas of operation
- Willingness and ability to work with contry government and local communtiy to implement the grant activities
- The necessary technical skills and experience to manage and deliver grant.
- Sound financial management capacity and internal controls.
- The capability to manage and account properly for the total grant funds.
- Experience in implementing health projects in the proposed areas of operation.
- Experience working within the community health strategy.
