All eligible applicants are invited to attend one week In-Country Workshops YouthLINC, Linking Innovators Who Network for Change organized by Internews BiH and its partners. This objective of this project is to address widespread intolerance and discrimination as two of the major challenges in achieving stability and peace throughout the Balkans. The partners include the Youth Initiative for Human Rights Bosnia and Herzegovina (YIHR BH,) the Youth Initiative for Human Rights Croatia, the Youth Initiative for Human Rights Kosovo, the Center for Regional Policy Research and Cooperation “Studiorum” Macedonia, the Youth Initiative for Human Rights Montenegro and the Youth Initiative for Human Rights Serbia.
The workshop will be held at Zagreb/Belgrade/Podgorica/Pristina/Skopje/Sarajevo respectively on last week of March 2013.The ICW will involve the following themes-
- Human rights
- Conflict prevention
- Activism
- Transitional justice and Dealing with the Past
- Gaining practical skills
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Between the ages of 18 and 24
- Interested in taking part in community actions
- Ready to bring social change
- Familiar with the use of online social media
