The VLIR-UOS offer scholarships to individuals from developing countries to undertake the International Master Programme or International Training Programme in Belgium. The programme covers all expenses related to the completion of the study.
The programmes have been specifically designed for people in positions of responsibility in civil society (such as universities, schools, NGOs, local communities, governments) in developing countries.
International Training Programmes 2011 include subjects such as “AudioVisual Learning Materials – Management, Production and Activities (AVLM), Beekeeping for Poverty Alleviation, International Training Programme in Food Safety, Quality Assurance Systems and Risk Analysis, Lib@Web – Management of Electronic Information and Digital Libraries and Technology for Integrated Water Management.” The International Master Programmes 2011-2012 cover “Master of Development Evaluation and Management, Master of Globalisation and Development, Master of Governance and Development and Master of Human Settlements.”
The deadline to apply for the International Masters Programme is 1 February 2011. For the International Training Programme, the deadline has not been given yet.
