The Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics, an international center of excellence based at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm, Sweden has announced that it is accepting applications for the 2011 Mäler Scholar Scholarship in Environmental Economics.
Funded by SIDA, the scholarship is “intended for researchers from environmental economics networks in developing regions of the world who have completed at least one network-funded research project. It allows researchers to spend up to 6 months at the institute preparing manuscripts from their existing research projects and developing new projects in collaboration with Beijer researchers. It covers travel costs to and from Stockholm and provides a monthly allowance for lodging and meals.”
“The institute is now accepting applications from researchers affiliated with four environmental economics networks—CEEPA, EEPSEA, LACEEP, and SANDEE—who are interested in spending time at the institute during 2011.“
The deadline to submit applications is 15 November 2010. For more information, visit this link.
