More Details: I have a passion for Street Theater. I have been working as Communications and Advocacy Manager with Bedari for past three years. I am also responsible for Coordinating the Bedari Theater Program.
I have developed and directed around 21 plays so far. These plays have often been developed with the support of the volunteers from the community for the whom the plays were to be performed.
Once I worked with a team of professional actors in Muzaffar, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (Pakistan). We developed a 40-minutes long play on health and hygiene issues. It was performed 59 times in various villages of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
Other plays include plays on Religious Intolerance, Women’s Rights, Domestic Violence, and Sexual Harassment at Workplace.
