The Ms. Foundation for women was incorporated to build women’s collective power across race and class from the ground up. This fellowship offers the opportunity for dynamic leaders to control our resources and support to develop promising strategies that shift policies and cultural conditions which enable inequality to thrive.
The foundation have transformed the lives of women, families and communities and advanced women’s solutions for equitable policy and culture change nationwide for more than 35 years.
Fellowship applications from leaders who are advancing solutions to critical issues, with a focus on the areas of:
- Reproductive health
- Child sexual abuse, and/or
- Child care (access to affordable child care and improved working conditions for child care providers)
Fellowship awardees receive:
- Financial compensation up to $85,000 for one year (dependent upon project terms and experience)
- Health benefits
- The opportunity to apply for a continuation grant of up to $50,000
- Travel assistance and conference fees
- Office space and equipment at the Ms. Foundation
- Professional development and mentoring
- Networking opportunities
