The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Scholarships invites application for Research on the culture and civilization of Far East countries and their relations Europe.
The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Scholarships proposes two scholarships from three to six months called: Calouste Gulbenkian Euro-Asian Fellowships. Intended for young scholars, citizens from European Union, residing in Portugal and holding a Master degree, a PHD, or any recognized equivalent qualification, those scholarships will be awarded to finance a period of study in Asia tenable in ECAF Centres.
Eligibility–
- EU citizens residing in Portugal.
- Field: research on the culture and civilization of Far East countries and their relations with Europe.
- Funding type: basic allowance for living expenses.
- Amount: a monthly allowance of between 900 and 1,800 Euros depending on the level of the applicant (PHD student or Postdoctoral research fellow) and the country requested.
- The payment is operated by The Ecole française d’Extrême-Orient.
- Duration: 3 to 6 months, depending on the research program.
