Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships are awarded to outstanding postgraduate students to complete their Australian PhD; to undertake study in any field; or to support enrolment in a U.S. postgraduate program. This scholarship supports an 8-12 month program.
Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarships are offered to successful researchers who have completed their PhD in the past five years to undertake postdoctoral research in the U.S. This scholarship supports a 3-12 month program. Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarships is offered for academics (generally at Associate Professor or Professor Level) to undertake research or teaching at a US institution. This scholarship supports a 3-6 month program.
Fulbright Professional Scholarships is offered to aspiring mid-career professionals in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors to undertake training or research programs in the US. The scholarship is also open to people based in academic institutions whose primary research focus is professional or industry based, i.e. CRC or research institutes. This scholarship supports a 3-4 month program. This program provides the opportunity for an Australian academic to teach at a U.S. community or liberal arts college to help expand their international perspective and understanding.
