SPACE represents the goal of the organization: 1) to increase the relevance and impact of development itself, such that it operates with awareness, sensitivity and an appropriate, participatory methodology in rural communities. 2) To safeguard the rights of women and neglected individuals of the society.

Mission
Society for poverty alleviation and community empowerment (SPACE) employs right based, people centered, grass root and participatory methods: to Eliminate socio economic inequality; promote health, nutrition and well being; to facilitate self reliance, to enable local self governance; to ensure natural resource management, to promote education; to protect human rights, to promote people’s advocacy.
Aims and Objectives
• To work for the social, economic and political empowerment of masses through awareness raising & capacity building;
• To improve access to basic social services as health, education, water & sanitation;
• To provide an enabling environment for the empowerment of marginalized groups by mobilizing and capacitating civil society institutions;
• To support sustainable development interventions through research, documentation, policy analysis & services provision;
• Promoting the use of Information & Communication Technologies to optimize the utilization of available resources for the betterment of the people;
• Protection & conservation of natural resources and healthy environment.
• To research by collecting data of services and community.
• To improve the health, economic and social well being of rural communities through support to health and education programs, income generating activities, food and nutrition security and enhanced livelihood for all.
• To develop and synthesize a series of proven, high impact and cost effective approaches that create lasting improvements and sustainability in the health, education, social wellbeing and livelihood of individuals and rural communities at increasing scale.
• Rural Development the major objectives in this program are to evolve healthy societies living in a clean environment, drinking clean water with proper drainage and sewerage facilities. To aware and promote the disadvantaged citizen for a positive thinking and social mobilization to produce developed society.
• To develop skills for enhanced job opportunities and livelihood.
• Gender and/ Social Development To raise the rights of the females, to educate them formally through establishment of free welfare school and college for women as well as to educate them technically and to develop their skills in different fields of life. The main objective of this program is to reduce dependency on men and to develop a skillful society.
