The Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina is accepting proposals for “EU Support to the Local Economic Development in BiH ” with the financial assistance from the Instrument for Pre-Accession 2011 for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal of this program is to promote high growth in a local community with the final aim of creating jobs and sustainable economic activities.
Objectives-
- Support the implementation of measures at the local level which will contribute to improvements in the operational framework for the SME sector.
- Support improvements in innovation and competitiveness of local actors in partnerships.
- Contribute to improvements in the business environment through better infrastructure and services.
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposals is € 3 000 000. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 24 months nor exceed 30 months.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- be legal persons
- be non-profit making
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or a country that is a beneficiary of the Council Regulation (EC) No 1085/2006, of 17 July 2006, establishing an instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA)
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
