Europe Aid is accepting grant applications from Non-government organizations (NGOs) established in Jordan, European Union Member States or the International Organizations for Tourism Support Services under Promoting Local Economic Development in Jordan Project. The major objective of the program is to contribute to the implementation of the local tourism development plans for the Governorates of Ajloun and Tafileh, more particularly to support the development of tourism support services.
Minimum and maximum grant size for the call range from €900,000 to €975,000 which can be 95-100% of the total eligible costs of the action. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 20 months nor exceed 24 months.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Applicants must be legal persons in non-profit-making organization.
- Applying organization must be Jordanian or European Non-government organization (NGO) or International Organization as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules of the EC Financial Regulation.
- Jordanian NGO must be constituted in accordance with the legislation in force in Jordan for at least two years at the time of the submission of an application and registered with the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Social Affairs or Ministry of Industry.
- NGO from a member state of the European Union must be registered for at least three years at the time of the submission of the application.
- Applicants must be established in a Member State of the European Union or in Jordan, except for the international organization.
- Applicants must be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
- Proposed actions must take place in the Governorates of Tafileh and Ajloun.
