European journalists or would-be journalists interested to become Nico Colchester Fellow for the year 2014 are invited to write a 850-words article on ‘Who should be the next President of the European Commission and what should they do?’ The fellowship targets to help continental writers understand Britain and British writers understand continental Europe.
The fellowship duration is three months and the winners get an opportunity to work in the well known magazines – The Economist or The Financial Times.
Awards – Bursary of £6,000 to cover accommodation and travel –
- Fellowship at the Economist (Continental Europe) – for a British or Irish Applicant – One (1)
- Fellowship at The Financial Times (London) – for applicants from elsewhere in European Union – One (1)
Eligibility Criteria –
- European journalist or would-be journalist are eligible to apply.
- Applicant must be citizen from the European Union countries. Confirmation of citizenship is required along with the application.
