The Ernst & Young under its Better Government Programme in Poland has issued the 2009 Call for Proposals for Research Grants. The research grants provide an opportunity for successful candidates to carry out research in the public sector functioning in Poland. The programme has identified the areas (given below) where the research needs to be carried out. Candidates from all countries are invited to submit proposals, but they need to have a PhD in law, economics, political science or related discipline. Candidates from academic institutions and nonprofit research centres are encouraged to apply. The last date for submitting applications is 6 April 2009.
