Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation from Finland and Bpifrance, the French Public bank supporting the growth of French is currently inviting applications for its joint feasibility studies, demonstrations and R&D projects, focusing on developing innovative products and applications in all technological and market areas.
Applicants are expected to develop ready to market solutions or projects which have strong global or European market potential for Finland and France. The project duration is maximum 3 years.

- Digitalization, creating value from intangible assets and gaming.
- Electronics, IT and telecoms technology, internet of things.
- Biotechnology, medical devices and health related services.
- Cleantech and sustainable environmental and energy solutions.
- Intelligent industrial manufacturing, machinery, materials and transport.
Grants available
France –Funding amount from € 50,000 up to € 3 Millions.
Finland- Funding amount from 100 000 € to 1 million €.
Eligibility Criteria
- All Applicants from Finland and France are eligible to apply.
- The consortia should include at least two companies from the participating countries, one SME on Finnish side and a company up to 2000 employees on French side (participation of research institutes/universities is welcome as subcontractor according to each country’s funding regulations).
- Companies and/or academia from other countries may also participate as partners. These partners’ participation follows the financing rules of their countries of origin, including procedures and the funding regulations.
- The project should demonstrate an obvious advantage and added value resulting from the cooperation between the participants from the countries (e.g. increased knowledge base, commercial leads, access to R&D infrastructure, new fields of application, etc.).
- The project should demonstrate a balanced contribution of the participants from the two countries.
