Habitat for Humanity is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Area Manager, Direct Marketing and Online Fundraising in Manila, Philippines.
This Area Manager, Direct Marketing and Online Fundraising will strategically lead the business planning, research, design and delivery of the annual fundraising and capacity building targets of National Organizations (NO) in Asia Pacific region.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Area Manager will perform the following functions-
- Lead and/or facilitate national offices in Asia Pacific to achieve resource development targets through the optimization of National Organization online correspondence, donor visitation, and disaster response fundraising efforts supported by data analytics and strategic planning.
- Develop compelling proposals through research on fundraising and resource development trends and solutions and communicate insights for improvement and achieving targets.
- Design, inspire, lead and deliver an Asia Pacific-wide digital fundraising target in alignment with the IMPACT ASIA campaign and help achieve annual growth plans in digital fundraising regionally.
- Continually research and based on capacity estimate help design social marketing and social media strategies for fundraising in the region with National Organization participation.
- Act as lead to make database management a Standard Operating Procedure and culture across the organization in all channels of fundraising.
- Monitor and guide International Collaborative Development Handbook policies across the Asia Pacific National Organizations.
- Research and develop standards on individual fundraising and resource development best practices and donor segmentation trends.
- Analyze and report on results of fundraising efforts; use that information to refine strategies, identify new markets and more accurately target fundraising campaigns.
- Work with the Asia Pacific Communications Department to determine the key messages and call to action to be included in each communication for the purpose of increasing engagement.
- Coordinate fundraising activities across AP using knowledge from NOs with established resource development programs and supporting target fundraising countries (i.e. Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Japan, etc.).
- Work with National Organizations to produce and maintain a comprehensive, perpetual plan for all fundraising activities.
- Provide support and contribute to the development of strategic donor solicitation plans in support of Habitat’s Special research (including, but not limited to proactive prospect identification and post-screening analysis). Maintain AP wide prospect profiles; give cue and leads to colleagues in donor prospect research.
- Successfully align partner interests with HFHI’s strategy and demonstrate a strong value proposition.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- 5+ years of front-line experience in fundraising from corporations, high net-worth individuals in large, nationwide setting as part of a nationally deployed team or front-line sales in a corporate setting.
- BA/BS required; MBA and training in Fundraising and exposure to Asian region strongly desirable.
- Previous experience in being a part of USD 10 Million+ fundraising teams during career.
- Track record of successfully collaborating with others in a complex, matrix-structured, dynamic organizational environment; This includes a track record of positioning affiliated entities as valued customers, and experience managing between the needs of the national office and the interests of the donor/investor.
- Innovative, creative, strategic and analytical thinking and must be an expert researcher.
- Ability to derive donor insight and engage senior managers and board members in donor relations as needed and earn and maintain their confidence.
- Exposure and knowledge on complex fundraising scenario including planned gifts, campaign and endowment gifts, and investment options.
- Ability to ignite a passion and to create and communicate excitement about HFH’s compelling mission.
