United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Graphic Design Analyst in Geneva, Switzerland. The duration for the post is of 1 year.
UNOPS mission is to serve people in need by expanding the ability of the United Nations, governments and other partners to manage projects, infrastructure and procurement in a sustainable and efficient manner.
Key Jobs Responsibility
The Graphic Design Analyst will be responsible for the following functions-
- Support the implementation and maintenance of layout of reports and publications, the development of new graphic solutions and design of innovative interactive products.
- Design new and/or update products and publications such as reports, brochures and graphics information and other materials in InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Illustrator and Word.
- Ensure adherence to graphic guidelines.
- Develop, improve and edit designs for maps, photos, graphics, figures and other graphic elements.
- Maintain templates (Word, PowerPoint etc.) and give technical support for their use; and layout and design presentations including creating animations in PowerPoint and/or Flash for illustrative purposes such as animation of maps and more advanced solutions.
- Deliver creative graphic and technical solutions for new media; and.
- Liaise with printers and other publishing firms for printing of materials.
- Lead on the development and design of the revamped Stop TB Partnership website.
- Assist the Communications Team in the design of web banners for its other social medial channels: Twitter, FlickR, Instagram, and Vimeo the monthly newsletters.
- Edit and organize the Stop TB Partnership’s images and video footage for use on websites, social media channels, presentations, etc.
- Work with the Communications team and translation firm to proof and review French language communications products.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Master’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, marketing and advertising, media and communications or related area. A Bachelor’s degree in these fields with an additional experience of 2 years may be accepted in lieu of the Master’s degree.
- A minimum of 3 years’ progressively responsible experience in organizations, corporate or agency communications and graphic design.
- Experience of working in a creative marketing or advertising company would be an added advantage.
- fluency English, required. Knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
