World Vision (WV) is currently seeking applications from the eligible applicants for the post of Director, Horizon Implementation and Support in Federal Way, United States. The duration for the post is of 2 years.
The Director, Horizon Implementation and Support will responsibility for activities that contribute to planning, creating and implementing the Horizon vision and strategy, which is a top priority for World Vision, and required to increase business efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Jobs Responsibility
The Director, Horizon Implementation and Support will perform the following functions-
- Direct and manage global implementation and maintain business processes and support relevant to Horizon to all entities within the partnership, which is required to increase business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with GC business functions, the GICT engagement team, the GC Sponsorship TFE team, and all regional offices.
- Build and strengthen trust and relationships throughout the Horizon implementation, and serve as a trusted strategic partner to provide timely advice and guidance to key stakeholders including Strategy, DME, Sponsorship, Finance, Grants, GIS, CWB Indicators and Reporting, SMEs and other business leaders.
- Work with business partners to understand business needs and manage the implementation of Horizon to support business strategy.
- Direct and manage ongoing support monitoring and work with GICT engagement team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that continued services are maintained for end users.
- Provide reasonable assurance to key stakeholders and mitigate risk that threatens the organization’s ability to implement its strategy and achieve its objectives by managing critical incidents impacting business.
- Ensure interim and permanent solutions are identified that lessen negative impact to user experience and the business.
- Direct and manage the deployment of each release including sign-off and business support services to all entities and business operations as part of each release.
- Direct and/or oversee ongoing capacity building related to business support and manage all support services, working closely with multi-disciplinary Horizon Business Leadership and business support teams.
- Track and manage the Horizon implementation within budget, also ensuring internal Service Level Agreements are met to achieve desired results on time.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have-
- Master’s Degree in development, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in management roles in systems and business operations in global organizations with complex organizational relationships.
- Broad knowledge of development and sponsorship preferably within World Vision.
- Strength in building and managing effective work relationships with both local and dispersed colleagues.
- Strong diagnostic skills and a working knowledge of current technologies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with many different functions and cultures.
- Experience in managing teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, collaborative, facilitation and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage teams effectively in dynamic changing environment.
- Typically requires 7-10 years of relevant technical and business work experience.
- Experience in working with multiple functions around enterprise wide change processes.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30 % of the time.
