The Acumen Fund Fellows Program is a one year program that gives an opportunity for Fellows to undertake world-class leadership training, field work with social enterprises on the front lines and a community of changemakers and thoughtleaders.
The program is currently accepting applications for the Class of 2012.
The Acumen Fund’s Fellows Program is aimed at building an entrepreneurial bench of professional talent with strong operational skills, experience in low-income markets, and the moral imagination to build enterprises that meet the needs of low-income consumers. Each year, Acumen Fund recruits highly talented and passionate young professionals to reflect on their role as leaders, build their leadership capacity, and provide much needed management support to their investees.
Applicants from any nationality are welcome to apply to the program. Although the program mentions that it seeks to recruit young professionals, however, it also clarifies that there is not actual age limit or even a degree required to apply for it. It typically seeks individuals with 3-7 years of work experience and candidates should preferably be graduates.
