The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) is inviting proposals for “CDKN Invitation to Tender: TAAF-0053a Building the business case for investment in climate compatible development – a case in Rwanda”. Interested suppliers may apply.
CDKN is searching a supplier who can develop the business case for further investment in CCD in Rwanda which also includes:
- Assessing the monetary and non-monetary costs and benefits of CCD projects that are currently being funded through the Adaptation Fund and/ or FONERWA.
- Conducting an impact assessment that analyses the social, environmental and economic impacts of 1-3 projects that are currently being funded through climate finance in Rwanda.
Primary objective of this project is to articulate and develop a strong business case for scaling up the investment in CCD in Rwanda and also to improve understanding about the impact of existing CCD investments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Excellent knowledge of and experience in development economics
- Expertise and experience in developing convincing business cases for investment
- Experience in delivering projects of this nature (i.e technical, duration and budget)
- Excellent expertise and experience in evaluating the impacts of development projects and / or programmes
- Experience working in Africa, preferably in Rwanda.
- An ability to present and disseminate study findings in an accessible, practical and user-friendly way
