Misbah Welfare Foundation (MWF) is a social and welfare, non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization, registered NGO by Government of Pakistan with its Head Office at Karachi. The aims and objects of MWF with functioning to promote and establish of educate culture in the country and working for betterment of the people of Pakistan by way of easy approachable system.
MWF aims to introduce new way and affordable system of education plus information technology in the rural and urban areas with the creation of free education environment for every child, women and adolescents. Our one line statement of purpose was “Better education-better society”.
MWF is a non-denominational, pursuing freedom, justice, peace and opportunity for everyone in the world. MWF works to address poverty and its causes through humanitarian assistance in emergencies, community development and advocacy for policy change and for this purpose we need contribution from corporate donors. MWF intends to promotes social justice and poverty alleviation through campaigning, education and advocacy and works in emergency relief and in partnership with local / international communities on long & short term development projects we also intend to support schools with information technology through online teaching resources which provide information about current issues and encourage students to take personal action by planning, promoting and participating in activities to support the work for development of country.
MWF is committed to helping people help themselves by providing them with the skills and resources to achieve lasting social and economic change. Our projects focus on education, health, environment, violation of human rights, women and children as well as work with community basis.
Objectives
1. To improve the standard of education and enhance education opportunities and school facilities in rural and urban areas.
2. To set-up/ establish computer centre (Information technology) special for women with lab facilities in all areas.
3. To reduce poverty with a focus on education, employment, income generation and empowerment.
4. To build community empowerment through capacity-building and leadership development and provide humanitarian assistance to areas affected by natural calamities such as cyclones, earthquakes and floods.
5. To initiate and implement social and community development activities in the field of education, income generation for women as well as healthcare for the weaker sections of society.
6. To promote Information collaborations and Constructive communication between NGOs, to develop effective partnership with each other.
7. Electronic Networking to strengthen community organizations by boosting its knowledge base and its ability to share information and experiences with strategic allies and other partners in relevant field.
8. To organize seminars, meetings, programmes etc. to provide professional and technical knowledge relating to education, healthcare, human rights and social concerned matters.
9. Capacity building of grass-root level NGOs, social workers through free online resources and information on a single platform.
10. To serve non-profit organisations, charities, grassroots and community groups, educational and research institutions.
11. Sharing of ideas among NGOs and development agents.
12. Provide more options before Funding Agencies to select the right choice of organisation to support and work with.
13. To pursue and secure the common and lawful interest of the general public at various forums through co-ordination amongst the various similar or and any institutions.
14. To provide medical and legal aid to the needy persons and to help poor, widows and their family members and to help through investigation and documentation of human rights violations and provide legal assistance to victims of human rights abuses.
15. To promote brotherhood, friendship and to create harmony amongst the general public at national and international level.
16. To create awareness about environment and violation of environment law as per national and international level.
17. To publish and support publications, magazines, bulletins or any other useful or beneficial information to the people and to arrange walks on various occasions of social and national interest such as peace, labour day, women day etc. to impart knowledge on improving health, environment and living conditions etc.
18. To advise and assist the Government in/for formulation of useful and progressive policies and to co-operate with them in their successful implementation and co-ordinate with all concerned agencies.
19. To provide/ grant to the jobless youngsters so that they could avoid to save to involve in criminal and unlawful activities and resolve the inadequate education system in the culture of our country.
20. To focus on international justice, humanitarian assistance, development aid and ply role in peace-building process.
To provide Health Care and health Education programs to the underprivileged rural people and to arouse adequate consciousness about health and hygiene among villages and to facilities better health for the community and to create awareness about hygiene and sanitation.
