Social Activists Forum (SAF-Kech)
Introduction:-
To meet the requirements of Computer and technology era, everyone strives to advance in the realm of education. In addition, it is incumbent on every individual who keeps breast of the latest developments, both nationally and internationally and judges both negative and positive aspects of the society to pave the way for the development of the society. This responsibility not only goes to one person but the whole society is supposed to struggles bard in order to bring positive changes in the society.
Backwardness in all spheres, educational, social, cultural and educational is widespread all across Pakistan and this has not spared Makran, one of the most backward and drought-stricken regions in the country. Makran, which is known as “the center of narcotics” is faced with thousands of other hardships and difficulties. Previously, Makranis (the residents) used to go to the Gulf for earning a livelihood but now the chances of getting a job in the Gulf have narrowed down.
Furthermore, cheating has completely weakened the minds of youths and tends to remain a threat for the posterity. Since there are no or little opportunities for jobs, students do not concentrate on their studies and are completely dependent upon cheating, which is the only source for getting the required degrees in the country. This has further disturbed and frustrated our youths, both physically and mentally.
To lessen the chances of further deterioration in the society, the need for reforms was highly felt. In this regard, for the past several months the said problems had been discussed and it had been struggled to unite and motivate the masses and to create consciousness and awareness.
Keeping this in view, Social Activists Forum (SAF-Kech) was formed in a meeting at Turbat, Kech Balochistan on April 14, 2002.
